Scottish Government has confirmed that 10 people have died from coronavirus in the last 24 hours. The latest figures for Scotland showed that 1498 new cases had also been identified overnight.It brings the death toll since last March – of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days – to 8,013.There are currently 356 people in hospital confirmed to have the virus with 42 being treated in intensive care.The total number of positive cases since the pandemic started stands at 357,917.4,034,420 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and 3,375,524 have received their second.The figures come as 16 and 17-year-old's have been urged to get their jabs before returning to school.
