Scottish Government announces no deaths and 7,113 Covid cases in last 24 hours

Scottish Government has confirmed that no people have died from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, The latest figures for Scotland showed that 7,113 new cases had also been identified overnight.It brings the death toll since last March – of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days – to 8,103.There are currently 507 people in hospital confirmed to have the virus with 52 being treated in intensive care.The total number of positive cases since the pandemic started stands at 407,660.4,101,311 people have received the first dose of the Covid vaccination and 3,655,287 have received their second.The figures come as Health Secretary Humza Yousaf urged all under-40s to get their second vaccine amid a surge in.
