Scots warned over bogus workmen as police arrest and charge man and hunt two others

Police have charged a man in connection with bogus workmen offences as officers hunt for two others. The 24-year-old was arrested following alleged incidents at homes in Old Kilpatrick, West Dunbartonshire.

He is expected to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday. Police Scotland said the alleged offences were carried out in the Freelands Crescent area between Monday and Thursday last week.A statement said: "Enquiries into identifying two other men are still ongoing."The first man is white and was wearing a black zipped hoodie, grey t-shirt, black cargo trousers with grey patches, beige shoes and a white face mask.
