Scots wanted for coronavirus vaccine trial as more than 10,000 volunteers needed

Applications have opened for willing participants in Greater Glasgow and Clyde, Edinburgh, Midlothian, East Lothian, West Lothian, Fife, Forth Valley and the Borders.
Successful applicants will be split into two groups who will test out two different potential vaccines for Covid-19.Experts will examine the safety aspects and the immune response to both ChAdOx1 nCov-19 and the Men ACWY vaccine.Patients will visit designated facilities for a series of examinations - which includes blood tests, nasal/throat swabs and a collection of information about symptoms that may occur after.
