A pair of plucky school kids have pledged to climb the height of Mount Everest by bouncing more than 80,000 times on a pogo stick.Leo and Ivy Ingham decided to take on the mammoth challenge in a bid to raise funds for the NHS after being inspired by Captain Tom Moore. The duo worked out that their average bounce was 11cm meaning they have to complete a total of 80,436 to reach the peak of the world’s tallest mountain.Averaging between 2000-5000 bounces a day, the siblings, who both attend Gullane Primary School in East Lothian, hope to complete their challenge in around three weeks time.
The 10 and eight-year-old chart their daily progress on a spreadsheet and are documenting their impressive progress on their official Facebook page.
