SCOTS endurance racer Colin Noble ended his 2020 European campaign with a Le Mans Cup win at Portimao in Portugal.The Midlothian driver put in a tremendous final stint during an incident-packed two-hour race to catapult his LMP3 Duqueine M30 D08 from fifth to second place.Aware that the race leader had incurred a drive-through time penalty, Noble remained close behind to ensure victory without risking all by attempting to overtake.Last Saturday’s result means he and Nielsen Racing team-mate Tony Wells finished the championship in fifth place.Afterwards, Noble said: “That was unexpected but a very worthy win for us and the team together.
