A murderer who stabbed his neighbour to death when advised to ‘make himself scarce’ following a dispute with a local drug dealer has died in prison.
Alexander Wilson pleaded guilty to murdering Thomas Taylor in Tontine Park, Renton, West Dunbartonshire, in June 2007. He had been drinking cider and taking painkillers and tranquillisers before stabbing Mr Taylor with a kitchen knife.The victim staggered to his mother’s house and told her who had attacked him - but later died at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley.The court heard at the time how Wilson fell out with a drug dealer who accused him of stealing £20 worth of heroin and that Mr Taylor, who was not involved in the dispute, suggested he “make himself scarce.”Defence QC Ronnie
