A Perth inmate serving a life sentence for stabbing his neighbour to death has died in prison. Convicted murderer Alexander Wilson (53) passed away in the HMP Perth facility on December 13.
The circumstances around his death are not yet known, but the Scottish Prison Service will be launching a Fatal Accident Inquiry in due course.Wilson pleaded guilty to murdering Thomas Taylor in Tontine Park, Renton, West Dunbartonshire, in June 2007.He had been drinking cider and taking painkillers and tranquillisers before stabbing Mr Taylor with a kitchen knife.The victim staggered to his mother’s house and told her who had attacked him - but later died at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley.The court heard at the time how Wilson fell out with a
