Scots dog killed in hit-and-run horror as cops hunt driver

dailyrecord.co.ukdog died in a hit-and-run in South Lanarkshire. Beloved dog Jerry was killed close to 3 Glasgow Road in Chapleton on November 20.
The pooch was mowed down at around 10.15am after slipping out of his harness and walking out onto the road. An electric blue four by four, possibly a Jaguar, was speeding along Glasgow Road and hit Jerry , before making off in the direction of East Kilbride.The driver failed to stop and provide details.Jerry sadly died as a result of the horror road incident.Police are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
