A young Scots woman is facing a painful recovery after being attacked in a Glasgow casino while celebrating her 21st birthday.
The woman suffered a double ankle fracture after being kicked by a man as she walked past his table at the gambling hub on Broomielaw in the city centre.
The incident took place at around 4.30am on Sunday inside the upper area of the Grosvenor Casino, which was showing the Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder boxing match.
She was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment and later released but faces ongoing physiotherapy and outpatient appointments.
