blizzard conditions as Storm Christoph travels up north from England. Two weather warnings have been issued across the country - the first of which will come into effect from midday tomorrow.
Met Office forecasters are anticipating 12 inches of snow to fall on some areas of higher ground over a 24-hour period in southern and central parts of Scotland.The snow is expected to turn to heavy rain showers in more lower parts, which could lead to some localised flooding near the east coast.
