Saudi Arabia is looking into the possibility of a joint-bid for the 2030 World Cup with Italy - despite the two nations being over 2,000 miles apart!The bidding process for the centenary tournament is in its infancy, with as many as nine potential countries and coalitions expressing an interest in hosting the event.They include a British Isles bid, split between England, Northern Ireland, Wales, Scotland and the Republic of Ireland, and a four-way bid from Chile, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay - 100 years on from the inaugural World Cup in Uruguay.
According to The Athletic, Saudi Arabia are also interested in hosting the tournament and are exploring the potential for a joint-bid with a number of nations - including Italy.
