Santa is facing restrictions as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, despite recently being cleared as a key worker by Prime Minister, Boris Johnson.
New research by smart home security firm, SimpliSafe, has revealed that kids across Scotland are already planning ways to keep them and their families Covid-19 safe during his visit this Christmas.
The survey of 1,005 children aged eight or under found that over one in four (26%) children said they plan on leaving hand sanitiser out for Santa and 47 per cent believe that he should mask up during home visits.
But that’s not all Santa has to deal with. This year, he has another battle on his hands as kids turn detective and plan evermore elaborate ways to try to catch him in the act.
