With the BBC receiving major plaudits for its Saturday night Party at the Palace to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee, a peak of more than 13M viewers tuned in for the concert, which featured Diana Ross, Nile Rodgers and Queen.

BBC has said a peak audience of 13.4 million viewers tuned in to Her Majesty the Queen's Platinum Party at the Palace on Saturday night. The special Jubilee event, which was broadcast on BBC One, had a huge audience share of 66.8% and an average overnight audience of 11.2 million.It was held outside Buckingham Palace and featured star performances from the likes of Rod Stewart, Alicia Keys and Sam Ryder, with Paddington Bear even making an appearance.The concert kicked off with The Queen having tea with the much-loved animated bear as they bonded over their love of marmalade sandwiches.The clip brought back fond memories of the video she made with Daniel Craig as James Bond for the London 2012 Olympics.The Queen and Paddington then tapped out the rhythm of Queen's We Will Rock You on teacups, before Queen and Adam Lambert appeared to get the show going.Elsewhere, viewers were left in hysterics after comedian Lee Mack's dig at Prime Minister Boris Johnson.He told the crowds: "We are here right outside the gates of Buckingham Palace for the party of a lifetime."And I tell you what, finally you can say the words 'party' and 'gate' - and it's a positive."The event also featured dance act Diversity, as well as songs from hit musicals including Hamilton, The Lion King and The Phantom of the Opera.The Platinum Party at the Palace tripled the number of football fans who watched England lose by a goal to nil to Hungary.A peak of just 4.5 million watched the national team’s defeat, with an average of 2.7 million viewers.As well as the millions of people watching at home, there was a crowd of 20,000 members of the public in attendance at the palace.
