Sainsbury’s shoppers have been booted off of the supermarket’s app after over 14,000 reportedly flocked to place their lockdown food shop.
The supermarket chain felt the strain of panic buyers once more after Boris Johnson plunged England into its third national lockdown.
Chaos broke out during the first announcement in March 2020, with shelves left bare, the vulnerable looking for food and buyers struggling to find delivery slots.Thousands were once again left queuing on Tuesday as companies struggled to deal with the fall-out.
Taking to Twitter, some disgruntled shoppers complained they were unable to log into their groceries account, while others saw nothing at all.
