SAG-AFTRA, the union that represents actors, has issued a “do not work” order for the upcoming pandemic thriller Songbird, which is being produced by Michael Bay.
The movie is set “two years in a future in which the pandemic has not gone away as the virus continues to mutate,” according to Variety.
The film was planning on being made in the middle of the pandemic, but SAG-AFTRA is telling actors not to work on the film. If any member of the union does accept a job on the project, they could be disciplined.
