London's mayor today voiced his fury at Boris Johnson after alleged plans to lock down the capital were drawn up without his knowledge.
Sadiq Khan accused the Prime Minister of "riding roughshod" over local leaders after the idea of restricting travel to and fro across the M25 emerged at the weekend.
According to the Sunday Times, the PM himself "signed off on tough measures to curb any upsurge of the virus in London" during a "war game" last week.
A Tory minister today refused to deny the shock plan, which would echo last month's warning against non-essential travel in and out of Leicester, could take effect if there's a Covid-19 surge in the capital.
