Preston City Council has deployed a "don't kill granny" slogan in a bid to slow the spread of coronavirus after the area went into local lockdown yesterday.
It comes afer Boris Johnson placed clusters of northern England back into partial lockdown in a bid to stop a second wave of coronavirus.
As many as four million people in Greater Manchester, east Lancashire and parts of West Yorkshire are now banned from mixing indoors and in gardens.
The restrictions were imposed in Preston from midnight on Friday and will remain in place until at least August 14 after a spike in Covid-19 cases.
