Boris Johnson's TV and radio presenter sister has openly questioned her brother's childhood memories about holidaying in the UK.
The 54-year-old says she 'racked her brains' when she heard him encouraging the nation to stay in the UK for their summer breaks during his speech last Friday, and was left further puzzled when the Prime Minister spouted that some of his best childhood memories took place on UK-based holidays.
As she penned her column for the Daily Mail - during her own staycation to Scotland, which she admitted had a "spirit-lowering contrast to the Med or the Caribbean" - she recalled what her brother had said in a bid to encourage people to boost the economy by holidaying in the British Isles.
