Grassroots crusader Robbie Savage has piled pressure on the Government to restore full squad training to amateur football, branding the current restrictions "nonsense".

Mirror Sport columnist Savage has published an open letter on Twitter to Sports Minister Oliver Dowden and the Prime Minister, demanding to know why drinkers can congregate in pubs but it is considered unsafe for more than half a dozen footballers to train in fresh air.
