Robbie Neilson saw first hand how Aidan McGeady still has it after his first-half double earned Sunderland a friendly win at Tynecastle.
The former Celtic wide man was given the expected welcome by the 2,000 fans inside Tynecastle, but he soon shut them up with brace for the Black Cats in their 2-0 victory.
Neilson was in direct opposition against McGeady as a right back when the Jambos faced the Hoops and can still see the old magic in the 35-year-old Sunderland star's boots. “I came up against Aidan in my playing days,” he said.
