New signing Ridvan Yilmaz has joined up with his new Rangers teammates for the first time after missing the opening day of the league season.
Rangers moved quickly to reinvest the club record fee they negotiated with Ajax for Calvin Bassey to add the 21-year-old to the squad.
The Ibrox side agreed to pay out a guaranteed £3.4m plus £1.9m in potential add-ons with a 20 per cent sell-on clause written into Yilmaz's contract to bring the full back from Besiktas, but despite the quick-fire deal he missed the opening day Premiership victory against Livingston.
Borna Barisic started at left-back in West Lothian as Gio van Bronckhorst's side got their league campaign off the perfect start, with the Champions League third round qualifier with Union Saint Gilloise coming up on Tuesday.
