A Renfrew primary school was given a special mention in Holyrood for their efforts achieving a prestigious award for a second time.Natalie Don MSP submitted a motion in parliament to congratulate Arkleston Primary for scooping the highest accolade of gold from UNICEF UK’s Rights Respecting School programme.The Express previously told how the school bagged the award for the first time back in 2018, and since then staff and pupils have embedded rights into all teaching and learning - making them the first school to achieve the award twice.The Rights Respecting award is granted to schools that show commitment to promoting and realising children’s rights while encouraging everyone to respect the rights of others in school.Pupils at the Cockles
