Mikel Arteta will reportedly have more say in Arsenal ’s transfer business from now on after head of football Raul Sanllehi’s exit from the Emirates.
The Gunners announced over the weekend that Sanllehi would be leaving the club as part of their restructuring template.Managing director Vinai Venkatesham will now absorb his role, but it is not only him who will have a more prominent involvement in transfers.
According to The Times , Arteta will also employ a more hands on role in the signing and selling of players moving forward.
Former Barcelona director of football Sanllehi was brought in by Ivan Gazidis to prohibit Arsene Wenger ’s control over transfer dealings throughout his tenure in charge.
