The Gabon international’s contract extension has become a big talking point in north London, with the forward getting close to a three-year deal.
With £250,000-a-week on the table, Mikel Arteta hopes it will put him off moving to the likes of Real Madrid and Barcelona, who both expressed an interest in the 31-year-old.
And the forward used his brother Willy’s Instagram account to drop the latest tease over his future.Speaking directly to the camera, the Arsenal captain says: “Guys, have a good night!“Enjoy and, hopefully, great news for everybody.” It was Aubameyang’s brother who also suggested last week that talks.
