A man, from Stockton-on-Tees, who found a rare coin back in 2014 is preparing for its auction tomorrow. Scott Jinks discovered the £2 a while back but completely put it aside when his attention turned to caring for his ill dad.
Then when both of his parents passed away, the dad came across the coin once again when he was counting his change with the kids.
Almost six years on since he discovered the coin with the error, Scott has decided to finally put it up for auction. Now in an exclusive chat with Daily Star Online, the dad has lifted the lid on the importance of that coin.
