Organisers of a music event for rapper AJ Tracey have reportedly been slapped with a £10,000 fine for breaching Covid-19 rules.
The 27-year-old London-based rapper had announced to followers that he would be performing at Platt Fields Park in Manchester on Sunday and as a result, hundreds of people flocked to the event.
The Brit Award-nominated star was promptly forced to cancel the gig before he started performing because so many people had turned up.
Greater Manchester Police have since revealed to Manchester Evening News that the organisers of the music event were given a Fixed Penalty Notice of £10,000. "People have now dispersed and the organiser of this gathering has been issued with a £10,000 Fixed Penalty Notice," the statement
