The rear end of his Hyundai IX35 SE came to rest on the railway line in the early hours of the morning after a drinking session with friends.Paisley Sheriff Court a horrified member of the public rushed to his aid after hearing the smash - and seeing McElwee trapped in the vehicle.But the Good Samaritan was unable to free McElwee before a train approached and had to jump out of the way to avoid.
