mirror.co.ukA man's car was seized by police after he drive from Tier 4 in London to Gloucestershire. Officers stopped the car in St John's Lane in the centre of Gloucester on Boxing Day, reports and discovered the man had come to the city to visit friends.
The Glos Police Specialist Operation division said on Twitter on December 26: "E shift just stopped this car. Driver was disqualified, no insurance or tax. "He had travelled from London (Covid Tier 4) to visit friends in Glos.
Reported and vehicle seized." The man had travelled from London, which is in Tier 4, to Gloucester, which is currently in Tier 3, reports Gloucestershire Live.
