Stephen Frail says Motherwell can never expect to beat Rangers, but they go into the Saturday lunchtime kick-off with a lot of confidence.Since Stuart Kettlewell took over at Fir Park they’ve bagged wins over St Mirren, Hearts and Ross County and a draw at Kilmarnock, taking nine points out of 12.Frail knows it’s not going to be easy against a side that is bang on form, but they’ll do their best to take three points from the Fir Park showdown.Frail, who took over as assistant just before beating Ross County 2-0 in Dingwall, said: “I know it’s the old cliché and it’s boring at times but it is literally where we are, and it’s one game at a time.“When you’re going into games against Rangers and Celtic you never go in with the mind-set that ‘we’re going to take this’.“You hope to do well at it, but you’re obviously coming up against teams that are at the top of the league, with the resources and quality of players that they have.“But the players should be buoyed and confident with the last four performances and results.“You go into it and there will be respect for the opposition, but we go into it with their own gameplan and our own positive mind-set to try and get the three points and a positive result.“Our focus now is putting out a fantastic performance against Rangers and hoping to get a very positive result.”Motherwell have picked up results that have them sitting ninth in the Premiership, nine points above bottom side Dundee United, but Rangers are second, a massive 40 points better off.Frail, 53, said: “We’re going into the game against a Rangers team on the back of a disappointing result in losing the League Cup final, but they then got a great result against a Hibs team that have picked up, recently.“We know how
