She has since been nominated for multiple Brit Awards.While many have fallen in love with the singer and her songs, Burkmar, now 22, says her music is for herself alone. "It's there for me to self-therapise and to know myself better," she says.
Her 2019 album, Love and Compromise, changed her life. "It made me stop compromising. I had to write that album to get there, and I've never been happier."So many people identify with your song Sober.
Why do you think that is? When I wrote Sober, I was 18. I'd just left my hometown to move to London, and I was a bit lost.
