It comes after their neighbourhood in Sutton, north Dublin, has been plagued by a string of dog thefts.The quick-thinking pair overheard Sophie’s mum, reported only as Sarah, discussing how the gangs operate.And they put that knowledge to the test and came up trumps - coming home with the evidence.The thieves had started leaving black zip-ties on bins and garden gates indicating who has a dog, and are therefore targets.The girls haul of dozens of ties were put on Facebook as a warning to dog owners.Sarah.
