The flight, which left from Aberdeen in Scotland, had to abandon its landing plan when it came upon an electrical storm, with rain and hail disrupting the flight path.
After returning to the skies to search for a safe landing, the Queen’s pilot made a second attempt to land in London, which was successful.
Afterwards, she was whisked into a 4x4 and driven to Windsor Castle with her one of her corgis – believed to be Candy – riding in the backseat.
She looked calm and collected and is now expected to use her time at Windsor to prepare for the upcoming celebrations this week.
