PSG chairman Nasser al Khelaifi has released a statement opposing the formation of the European Super League.Twelve European clubs announced their intentions to be part of a Super League over the weekend.PSG were not one of the dozen, though reports had suggested two French teams were expected to join up soon.Though the Ligue 1 giants, who reached the final of the Champions League last season, will not be joining the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, and Real Madrid in the new competition.Commenting on PSG’s position regarding the latest developments in European club competitions Al-Khelaifi said: "Paris Saint-Germain holds the fine belief that football is a game for everyone.“I have been consistent on this since the very beginning.
