At the time, Microsoft were keen to stress the other important advancements, such as loading times and the quick resume feature that all but removes the need to re-load games you've previously paused.

This was also echoed in some of the comments given by Jason Ronald, director of product management for Xbox Series X, who said: "While the Xbox Series X will deliver a massive increase in GPU performance and continue to redefine and advance the state of art in graphics with new capabilities such as hardware accelerated raytracing, we don't believe this
