Proposals to extend an Uddingston primary school have been submitted to the council

Plans have been submitted to to South Lanarkshire Council that would extend a primary school in Uddingston The local authority received plans earlier this month to add an extension to St John The Baptist Primary School to allow for additional space for dining.

The school, which currently enrols 324 pupils and has a nursery attached, requires a single-storey extension of 76 square metres to create more room for lunchtime.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
