An inmate who sent letters threatening to kill Boris Johnson and his girlfriend has been jailed for five years. The threats by Rakeem Malik came days after being charged over vile threats posted to Theresa May and two other female MPs.
Mail sent by Malik threatened to car-bomb Labour MP Rosie Cooper and her party colleague Jess Phillips, Birmingham Crown Court has previously heard.
Extracts from the letters read into the court record earlier this month revealed that Malik threatened to eat Mrs May's corpse, kill Mr Johnson "by Christmas" and bomb Ms Cooper on behalf of "Jihadis of England."
