Boris Johnson has dodged questions on whether he’s helping out with childcare, midnight feeds and nappy changing for his son Wilfred.

The Prime Minister has previously indicated he planned to take paternity leave ‘later in the year’. But asked about it in an interview with the Mail on Sunday, Mr Johnson said: “Ahh, err.

It hasn't seemed to crop up so far.” And asked if he was helping to look after his two-month-old son by changing nappies and giving night feeds, he would only say he’s “both present and involved in a detailed way.” The PM's fiancee Carrie Symonds announced the birth of their son on April 29, weeks after Covid-19 left him in intensive care.
