Prince William and Kate Middleton have paid tribute to "devoted consort" Prince Philip on the day of his funeral. In a tweet from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's official Twitter account @KensingtonRoyal, the pair wrote: "The Duke of Edinburgh was a devoted consort to Her Majesty The Queen for nearly 70 years, from Her Majesty’s Accession in 1952 until his death." The couple were among the 30 guests to attend Philip's funeral at St George's Chapel from 3pm, with the post going live shortly afterwards.
In a poignant moment following the service, William was seen walking and chatting with brother Harry, who flew in from California earlier in the week.
