Prince William and Harry have shared a moving statement following the unveiling of their mother’s statue to mark what would have been her 60th birthday.
Royal brothers William, 39, and Harry, 36, reunited for the special occasion and paid tribute to their late mother, Princess Diana, which has become a grand feature of the Kensington Palace gardens.The statue shows the Princess of Wales with her arms lovingly wrapped around children – a project the brothers have been collaborating on since 2017.
After the ceremony, the pair released a joint statement in which they shared their hopes that the statue would be seen as a “symbol of her life and legacy” to onlookers.
