Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (born Rachel Meghan Markle; August 4, 1981) is an American member of the British royal family and former actress. Markle was raised in Los Angeles, California and has a mixed ethnic heritage. During her studies at Northwestern University, she began playing small roles in television series and films. From 2011 to 2017, she played Rachel Zane on the American legal drama Suits. Elizabeth II (Elizabeth Alexandra Mary; born 21 April 1926) is Queen of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms. Elizabeth was born in London, the first child of the Duke and Duchess of York, later King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, and she was educated privately at home. Her father ascended the throne on the abdication of his brother King Edward VIII in 1936, from which time she was the heir presumptive. She began to undertake public duties during the Second World War, serving in the Auxiliary Territorial Service. In 1947, she married Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, a former prince of Greece and Denmark, with whom she has four children: Charles, Prince of Wales; Anne, Princess Royal; Prince Andrew, Duke of York; and Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex.
Prince Harry
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, KCVO ADC (Henry Charles Albert David;15 September 1984) is the younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales and is sixth in the line of succession to the British throne. Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Prince Harry 'not allowed to salute Queen' at funeral leaving fans raging at 'madness'

Prince Harry fans have been left fuming after noticing that he was unable to salute the coffin of Queen Elizabeth II as it was taken into Westminster Abbey.The eyes of the world are watching the Queen's televised funeral which began at 11am this morning (Sept 29).However, eagle-eyed fans of the Duke of Sussex couldn't help but notice that he wasn't allowed to wear his military uniform or even salute his own grandmother as she was being laid to rest.READ MORE: Princess Charlotte 'lets George take lead' as kids 'not scared of Queen funeral roles'The 38-year-old was seen wearing a morning suit as he bowed his head to the coffin outside the Abbey given he is no longer allowed to wear his uniform.

It is tradition for working royals to wear military attire at relevant events, such as Trooping the Colour and funerals.But but Harry is no longer one after he stepped down from the role in 2020 to start a new life with his wife Meghan Markle overseas.

His fans took to Twitter to express their fury over the decision, with one user writing: "What is this… Prince Harry actually served 2 tours in Afghanistan but can’t salute his grandmother or wear a military uniform."
