Meghan and Harry demoted on official Royal Family website after Queen's death

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have found themselves near the bottom of the list of the Royal Family.The pair, who wed in 2018, have recently returned to the UK and prolonged their stay in the wake of Her Majesty the Queen’s death.There were hopes of reconciliation between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the rest of the royals during their stay, but a thinly veiled swipe appears to have since been made via the Royal Family’s official website.

While the pair haven’t been working royals for some time now, they had remained reasonably high up on the rankings on the website, sitting in the middle below the likes of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

However, they’ve since been demoted to below The Duke of Gloucester, Princess Alexandra and The Duke of Kent – but remain above Prince Andrew.

Part of Meghan’s “about” section reads: “As announced in January 2020, The Duke and Duchess have stepped back as senior members of The Royal Family.They are balancing their time between the United Kingdom and North America, continuing to honour their duty to The Queen, the Commonwealth, and their patronages.
