As her son Prince Charles and daughter-in-law Duchess of Cornwall visited Donaghadee in Co Down, Northern Ireland, a curious schoolboy wanted to know how many TVs she had.
Charles replied: “One I think. And maybe one or two elsewhere as well, you never know.” The 95-year-old Queen, whose husband Prince Philip died aged 99 last month, is known to enjoy watching telly and box sets, with Downton Abbey, Doctor Who and Coronation Street said to be among her favourite programmes over the years.
