Kate Middleton has become the “glue” holding the royal family together by stepping into the late Prince Philip’s role, a royal expert has revealed.
Vanity Fair's royal editor Katie Nichol spoke to 60 Minutes Australia and explained why she sees Kate as the royal family’s “greatest asset”.
She said: “The royal family realise they have a really important key player here and they're bringing her centre stage.” Referring to The Duke of Edinburgh, the royal expert continued: “He was the patriarch of the family.
I see Kate stepping into that role.Trying to keep things together.” The royal family have suffered a challenging year, following the death of Prince Philip and the controversy surrounding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's numerous.
