Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have named their daughter after the Queen's nickname to "remain connected" to the Palace, a royal commentator suggested.Australian columnist Angela Mollard suggested the Duke and Duchess of Sussex wanted to "secure their Sussex brand" regardless of their royal title.Speaking to The Morning Show on 7news, the expert said: "Harry did ask if they could use the name, if the Queen had said no, they could've gone on Oprah and said 'yeah she wouldn't let us use that name'."And my understanding is that Harry really liked the name Lili for quite a long time, a couple of years."I imagine they used Lilibet to secure the Sussex brand, to make that connection to the palace."The Sussexes have firmly denied any allegations.
