Prince Andrew appears to be fighting a losing battle with his brother King Charles to avoid being evicted from Royal Lodge. The Duke of York lives in the rambling Windsor mansion with his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson.Despite being given a 75-year Crown Estate lease by the late Queen Elizabeth in 2003, the disgraced Prince is under siege as the monarch pushes him to downsize and cut costs.
So this leaves the question, where could he go? As reported by the Scottish Daily Express, Ronn Torossian - founder and chairman of 5WPR - weighed in on the potential options for Andrew's relocation.
He said the duke had "adamantly turned down" the former home of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, nearby Frogmore Cottage. And his financial worries mean that he won't be "renting or buying a high-end private building or home anywhere in London".Torrosian said: "A seemingly more appropriate place would likely be Wood Farm on the Sandringham Estate, given its isolation and would definitely help keep Andrew away from the public eye."Several members of the Royal Family have found refuge at Wood Farm.
The Sandringham estate in Norfolk has 27 properties, including the main house and Anmer Hall, given to Prince William and Princess Catherine as a wedding present.Get the latest news sent straight to your messages by joining our WhatsApp community today. You'll receive daily updates on breaking news as well as the top headlines across Scotland. No one will be able to see who is signed up and no one can send messages except the Daily Record team. All you have to do is click here if you're on mobile, select 'Join Community' and you're in!If you're on a desktop, simply scan the QR code above with your phone and click 'Join Community'.We also treat our community
