Portland law enforcement officials have announced the arrests of four people accused of taking part in a human sex-trafficking scheme involving a child.
Portland Police Bureau’s Human Trafficking Unit learned in July 2019 that a child was being “sold for sex” and, over the subsequent months, arrested four men, ages 19, 24, 51 and 51, the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office said Tuesday.
The office said it withheld all information about the case until this week’s announcement because there was still a warrant out for the arrest of one of the suspects.
