Five people have been arrested, all allegedly connected to the fatal shooting of rapper Pop Smoke that occurred in February, Los Angeles police announced Thursday.
Three adult males and two juvenile males were taken into custody, police said. No additional information was offered.A motive is not known, but police are expected to release more information soon.
Born Bashar Jackson from Canarsie, Brooklyn, the 20-year-old musician was killedwhen several masked men broke into his Hollywood Hills home.
A call for the shooting was placed around 4:30 a.m. at 2033 Hercules Drive in Mount Olympus, Los Angeles police said at the time.
