Officers swooped on the premises in Urmston on Tuesday afternoon after being alerted to 'suspicious activity' at the eatery.
Inside, they found a 'large haul of cannabis' which they said had been 'harvested' there. Greater Manchester Police revealed brief details of the incident on its Trafford North Facebook page, joking that it would be leaving a one star review on TripAdvisor.
It published a picture of the cannabis which had been seized. The force made no mention of any arrests although the investigation is 'ongoing'.
