But comedian, Jason Manford still plans to raise a laugh in memory of former radio presenter Michelle Mullane, who helped his career take off.
He will headline an open-air show on Easter bank holiday Monday next year –18 April 2022 at The Oast House in Manchester – with profits from the ticket sales going to Cancer Research UK.
Michelle, who lived in Alderley Edge, was a former XFM and Key 103 radio presenter, who also appeared on BBC Radio Manchester.
